Daughter
After 22 years of gracing our pastures, Phinesse passed away in July, 2019. She was my first cria and the reason I am still in the alpaca business. I remember the joy and fear of seeing her sitting up in the barn the day she was born. I was afraid to touch her so I called the vet out to check her out. Her outstanding characteristics live on in her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. All the crias loved her even though she would always spit at them and ...

In Loving Memory of Phlirt
Beloved Champion, Devoted Mother, Forever Missed
December 2025

Phlirt was more than a champion alpaca — she was one of a kind, and one of the most deeply loved members of the herd. After a long and meaningful life of over 23 years — an extraordinary age for an alpaca — her passing leaves a quiet emptiness that is felt every day.

In the show ring, Phlirt stood out with her beauty, strength, and undeniable presence, earning championship honors and the respect of judges and breeders alike. Yet her greatest triumphs were not measured by ribbons alone. As a devoted mother, she gave the world champion offspring who carried her excellence forward, each one a reflection of her remarkable genetics and gentle spirit.

Phlirt had a calm, steady way about her — the kind that drew you in and made time spent with her feel special. She was known for coming right up to the fence, leaning in close, and offering her soft “alpaca kisses” to those she trusted — small moments of affection that made her impossible not to love.

Though Phlirt is gone, her legacy lives on in her crias and descendants, their successes, and in the countless moments she shared with those who loved her. She will always be remembered not only for the champions she produced, but for the long, beautiful life she lived and the place she holds in our hearts.

Rest peacefully, sweet Phlirt. You were truly one of the favorites.

One of the most feminine faces at The Alpacas of Phantasy Pharm is APP Peruvian Phlirtation. A full Peruvian, one-fourth Accoyo light brown female, Phlirtation is the gorgeous daughter of Camelot, a deep maroon Macusani male, and The Royal Phinesse who is the granddaughter of the famed Royal Fawn. As her name implies, she is as coy as she is irresistible. A stunning lady, she is an exquisite combination of Peruvian genetics. Along with her well-defined top knot that highlights her pretty face, she portrays elegance with her level top line, upright stance, and spectacular presence. Adding to her charm is her light brown fleece that covers her body from head to toe. Full of luster and shine, her fleece is dense with excellent character, great crimp, and a soft handle. Catching everyone's eye, especially the judges', Phlirtation has made her mark in the show ring with three color championships!

With each passing generation, Phlirt ensures that her exceptional qualities are not just passed down, but magnified, creating a lasting legacy that will continue to influence and inspire for generations to come. Her impact on her lineage is undeniable, setting a standard of excellence that will echo through the bloodlines for years to come.

Even though Phlirt has been retired from breeding, she is still contributing to the success of The Alpacas of Phantasy Pharm!

At almost 23 years of age, she is the Matriarch of the farm! (and she knows it!)
